Animal Service News

To date, Pinellas County Animal Services has issued 365 spay/neuter/wellness care vouchers to residents who qualify, and we still have funding available! To claim their voucher, pet families need proof of residency (photo ID & utility bill) along with either proof of government assistance (SSI, EBT card, etc…) or proof of income of $46,950 or less. Each household may receive up to two vouchers per household per year.
Beginning in mid-March, a recent generous donation will provide additional funding for vouchers de- signed specifically for the pets of Senior Citizens (65 years of age and older). These vouchers will also cover annual wellness care and spay/neuter services.
We currently partner with nine veterinary practices in our voucher reimbursement program, and we are eager to expand access and appointment availability for our county residents! If your practice is interested in joining our network, please reach out to our Finance Team
at:
AnimalServicesFinance@pinellas.gov or 727-582-2624. We are happy to help tailor the program to suit your practice’s needs, including setting limits on the number of vouchers honored or specifying the size and species of pets accepted at your location.
As always, thank you for all you do to support the pets and families of Pinellas County!
Thank you,
