President’s Message
Dear PCVMA members,
Happy May everyone! You’ve heard the saying “April showers bring May flowers”. We had a shower of awards for our PCVMA members in April at the FVMA annual conference. Congratulations to Dr. Joel Murphy for receiving the FVMA Gold Star Award and Dr. Don Morgan for receiving the FVMA President’s Award. Hats off to Dr. Todd Bliss and Dr. Nia Rametta for their graduation from the Power of 10 Class of 2024, and Dr. Jacquelyn Olson for her induction into the Class of 2025. The PCVMA was also represented at SPC’s Scholarship donor’s luncheon on April 4th. On May 13th, the PCVMA will be awarding $1,200 total in scholarships to two deserving veterinary technician students. On May 20th, we will have our monthly meeting at Bascoms, hosted by Purina. We will be hosting elections for the next President elect at this meeting, so please attend to help shape the future of our organization. Thanks for reading the newsletter and thanks for making Pinellas County such a great place to practice!

PCVMA DUES – 2024
Please support your county organization providing you with information and opportunities on continuing education, political/legislative issues, business/financial issues, Florida Pharmacy Dispensing and the Florida Laws and Rules required CE, approved CE Webinars, in-person meetings, social events throughout the year and admission to the PCVMA Annual Baseball Outing with a Tampa Bay Rays game at Tropicana Field in the Left Field Terrace Suite. Membership dues also allow you to receive the PCVMA monthly newsletter containing all meeting notices, classified ads and maintenance of the pcvma.org website.
Dues are $150.00 per year per veterinarian. Checks can be mailed in the enclosed preaddressed envelope. Credit cards can be processed by calling the PCVMA office 727-397-7387(leave message) or 727-410-7856(cell)

PCVMA PHARMACY DISPENSING, LAWS AND RULES OF THE PRACTICE OF VETERINARY MEDICINE IN FLORIDA MEETING FEBRUARY 10, 2024, AT THE ST PETERSBURG MARRIOTT CLEARWATER.
